Rusty Garden Decor

If we believe the groundhog, spring will soon be here. That means gardening, and getting your rusty garden décor out.

I’m drawn to rusty objects, and they fit in perfectly with my garden. Rusty fairies tucked into flowers, peeping out as you pass by create a surprise to those passing by.

Another favorite of mine is chickens and this little hen would look great in any garden.  Put her to work in the middle of your herb garden, or tucked into a pot of hens and chicks, adding a little whimsy to your plantings.

Flamingos.  What can I say?  Flamingos aren’t just for Florida.  Place a pair of these in with any tall growing flowers.  I think they would look great paired with tall pink zinnias!  I couldn’t resist this one and purchased one for my garden this summer.  Can’t wait until I can plant the zinnias.

Rabbits love the garden, but I prefer the rusty metal ones!  I think this little rusty bunny could find the perfect home in the hosta plants underneath my pine tree.  Add a few little terra cotta pots around him, and you have turned a plain garden spot into a spot your eye is drawn too.

It doesn’t matter what your garden style is. Formal, whimsy, or junk style, incorporating little surprises   create an interesting garden, and rusty garden décor can fit into any style.

All of this rusty garden décor can be purchased on Amazon  of which I am an affiliate. Just click on the picture you like and it will take you directly to the page.  While there, anything you purchase will provide a small commission to me.

I have a rusted out mailbox in my garden bed that I can’t decide whether to redo or leave as is.

We bought our house late last summer and I’m looking forward to adding some nice touches to our garden this spring. I think my girls would love the bunny. Thanks for sharing a fun idea!
