Doorknob Photo Holder

I went to a new antique and salvage store in Chattanooga called the Refindery. Most of the things there I would love to have had but the prices were a little out of my reach. (You get spoiled when you go to flea markets and can pick up things less expensively.) In addition to antiques, they also have a STORE full of salvage materials.

When I passed by a bin full of old doorknobs the rusty ones caught my eye. They cost less than the brass ones, but I like rusty better. I bought seven.

Doorknob photo holder supplies

I brought out some old rusty wire and twine and decided to make a doorknob photo and business card holder.

Doorknob holder wire

I started by wrapping the wire around the doorknob.

And bending the wire into shapes to hold the photo or card.

doorknob holder twine

I finished the wire with some twine to make it look a little neater.

Easy peasy!
