The cooler fall air is starting to arrive, and the pace of garden chores is beginning to slow down. It’s the perfect time to relax on the deck with a warm cup of coffee or herbal tea and get lost in a good book. September is National Read A New Book Month and I know I won’t have any trouble celebrating this Holiday.
I love relaxing in the evening with one of my cozy mysteries on my Kindle, but when it comes to gardening books, I want to hold them in my hand, mark the pages, and yes, highlight the information I like.
I have a bookshelf full of gardening how-to books, but I wanted something that would give me fresh ideas for using what I grow, and help me create a lifestyle I crave. Something less stressful, screen-filled and encourages me be more creative.
These two books are my recent purchases. I can’t wait to sit down and get started. I purchased my books on Amazon. But you can also visit your local library to see if they have them available, or your favorite local bookstore.
