I love galvanized buckets, and pick them up on my flea market trips when I can get them for a reasonable price. I never pay over $10.00 for them, and most are $5.00 to $8.00.
I brought them out of the storage building Saturday and planted a few to place in my yard.
I love zinnias and this one at my grapevines adds a little color.
This is not a galvanized bucket, but enamel. I think the red goes great with the white enamel, and red lawn chair.
My little rusty bucket is my favorite. It is filled with hens and chicks, and a rusty chicken, that in better times was a garden stake.
I added a bamboo skewer to the back and placed it in the pot. NEVER through anything away. Who knows how you might use it!
My yard is mostly sunny, so a few years ago, we added 3 River Birches near the patio to add some shade. This allows me to add a few shade tolerant plants. These are some coral impatiens that match the green and orange Scott’s Spreader. (Sorry, I have to color coordinate.)
