I dropped a few things off at our local thrift store last week. I try to drop them off at the desk and walk straight back out. That’s because my goal is to clean out, instead of bring in!. What’s my rule? Take 5 things to the thrift store, and you can bring one back lol. But today, I had to walk all the way through the store to find the staff who were putting things in the back……and I saw it out of the corner of my eye.
When I saw this letter holder I immediately saw a seed packet holder. And the price was right, $5.00. I’m working on the inside of my garden shed as one of my 2022 projects. (You can read about planning garden projects here). This will look great on the wall after I paint. It was made out of cheap wood and was glossy. The first think I did was to use a piece of sandpaper and lightly sand it all over. This would make it easier for the paint to stick.
Next. Paint it sage green. This will look great in my shed after I get the walls painted.
I found a “feed and seed” stencil from another project, and cut the seed part off. Using a darker green, I stenciled “seed” on the top.
And added my seed packets.
