It’s not often we get snow in the south, and the huge snowflakes coming down now are beautiful and create a winter wonderland in the garden. We filled all the birdfeeders, and while out, I captured a few photographs around my yard and garden.
This old grinding wheel stands proudly in my perennial bed.
My little garden gnome welcome sign is almost covered with snow.
My latest find. A garbage can turned birdfeeder. It has been placed temporarily on my back deck, until I can place a new post in the garden this spring.
The cardinals wanted me to move on, so they could eat at the many bird feeders we were filling.
My gate and red metal chair provide a backdrop in the herb garden next to my patio.
This watering can is patiently (or impatiently!) waiting on spring.
The trellis that is the entrance to our vegetable garden has been taken over by a Lady Banks Rose. The little yellow roses bloom early in the spring.
Until spring, Karen

Up here in PA we have all seen enough of the snow but more is on the way. Can’t wait for spring. Feels like the movie Groundhog day. Love your bird photos.
