Plant Markers with Bling

I was ready to do a few projects that I have had on my list, and today seemed the perfect day. It was 17 degrees outside and the wind made it feel like 10.

I have seen the stamped spoon plant markers, and had flattened some old spoons with plans to make a few.

But, while looking for the spoons, I ran across some of my jewelry making supplies.  I had collected old rhinestone pieces from estate sales, thrift shops and flea markets, and decided to create some spoon markers with a little bling.  I gathered up the other supplies I needed and headed for the dining room table.

You need to have a glue that will adhere to metal.  The E6000 is one of the glues you can use.

Some pieces of jewelry that were chains, needed to be cut with little jewelry pliers to get the size I wanted.

Rhinestones and other jewelry pieces.

The pieces were arranged the way I wanted and glued onto the spoons.

I  like the way these little plant marker spoons  add a little sparkle to your plant.
