If you are ready to take the plunge and start growing your own fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs I would love to be your coach. Whether it is helping you from the ground up with a blank backyard canvas, reimagining your current garden, or supporting your growing experience there is an option for you with my Gardenchick consult options.
It all starts with a consult. At this one on one meeting in your own yard, we will discuss your garden aspirations, goals and vision for your garden space. After evaluating sun exposure, access to a water source, and your terrain, we can determine what type of garden design would best fit your needs. I’ll introduce you to the kitchen garden concept using the raised bed design and discuss what plants grow well in our area and how they would fit into your raised bed gardens. Following the consult, I will email you a raised bed design based on your space, and a garden plan for one bed/season.

Sometimes we just don’t have enough hours in the day. If your garden needs a little TLC, don’t throw in the trowel! We offer maintenance services such as weeding, pruning, staking, and tidying up. End of the season? We will come clean up your existing garden, and add soil and compost, getting you ready for the next planting season or put your garden to bed for the winter. If you are going on vacation, we will check on your garden, watering, weeding, and picking your produce until you return home. Already have a garden bed that needs a little pick me up? I’ll come and add fresh planting mix that includes compost to your established bed.

There has been a resurgence in the desire to “grow your own”. Maybe it’s the current pandemic which seems to linger, or the supply chain problems which are causing shortages on the shelf, but I see people wanting to grow their own food. But, there is nothing more frustrating than the excitement of dreaming of your vegetable garden only to see it fail.
Do you have a group, HOA, or school who is interested in growing their own garden. Contact me to schedule a zoom class, in person class or to book me as a speaker. Let’s grow together!
