Most of us have been lucky enough to have seen, or at least read about gnomes. They have long been associated with the garden, keeping it tidy, and assisting with garden duties when no one is looking. Once upon a time garden gnomes were happy to hang around the garden or front lawn of neighborhoods, but these global trekking gnomads are the new generation of sociable, fun loving guys and girls, who were born to travel. They need your help to send them on an adventure. If they are the nervous kind, and would prefer to stay close to home, send them on an adventure to school, baseball games, birthdays , the office party, or local sites.. For more adventurous gnomads, take them on your travels, or send along with a friend to see the world. Great photo opportunities are everywhere. Gnomads love to pose for the camera!

So, how does this work? Each Gnomad has a tracking number on it's foot that can be linked to a unique journal page on the www.gnomads.net web page. Register your Gnomad on the site, dream up an adventure for yours, and send it on it's way. Post your pictures and journal their adventures on the site. Friends and family can check on your Gnomad by submitting his unique number. You can also check your state to see what Gnomads have passed through on their global adventures.
